home alone

Tom's visiting Kent in Seattle, so I've just been puttering around the house alone. Apparently I get really productive when alone: this evening, I made myself dinner of leftover aloo gobi and made kheer with the leftover rice, finished varnishing and assembling a shelf for my plants, watched lots of TV, vacuumed the house, worked on my blog redesign, washed sheets for the guest bed (parents visiting tomorrow), and now I'm kicking back with a nice gin and tonic. It's 2 am. I should go to bed. I'm not very tired, though. Gin, do your thing!

I'm the same way. Likewise, it's amzing how much I can get done in the mornings before John wakes up sometimes.
