Last month I took a class on plant identification in Ashland, Oregon. It was awesome. However, thanks to a very tasty gin and tonic, I accidentally left my bag in a friend's car. Said friend then went to Seattle, and so it took me until last weekend to get back my bag and camera.
Anyway. One of my new favorite plant families is the Saxifragaceae. They're all very pretty. Here are two from the genus Lithophragma: the one that is a bit more purple is L. parviflorum, and the one that is more green is L. campanulata.
